Here are some beautiful examples of  hand painted porcelains, both by the same artist.

#1896 Hutchenreuther Hand Painted Decorative Teapot

Signed.  PERFECT CONDITION.  GORGEOUS with heavy and dazzling gold trim and beautiful hand painted roses.  Reference books show this Hutchenreuther mark to have been used between the years 1955-69.  Apparently decorated outside the factory.  The artist's name appears to be inscribed on the bottom -- M. L. Mistric -- probably an American china painter and possibly from Dallas, Texas, where we found it at an estate sale.  The same artist also decorated the casserole shown below.

6 1/4" to the top of lip and 9 1/4" to top of finial on lid.  Approximately 9 1/2 to 10" wide from outer tips of spout and handle.

Item #1896 $425

#1897 Mitterteich Bavaria Hand Painted Decorative Casserole

Signed and Dated.  This DAZZLING BEAUTY of a lidded casserole is decorated with beautiful hand painted roses and very heavy gold trim on the rosebud finial and the handles, as well as around the scalloped rim of the lid and footed bottom.  It is in PRISTINE PERFECT CONDITION -- it appears to have been untouched except by the artist who decorated it.  It has obviously been used for decorative purposes only and treated with "tender loving care."  Artist-signed by M. L. Mistric on the bottom and dated 1982.   We assume this was an American china painter and possibly from Dallas, Texas, where we found it at an estate sale.  The same artist also decorated the tea pot shown above.

Hand Painted Mitterteich Casserole

Approximately 7 inches tall to top of gold rose finial and 11" across from the outer tips of the gold handles and 27" around the largest part of the bowl.
