#3847 Limoges France Decorative Plate by Bawo and Dotter Elite Works

Red decorating mark is c.1900-1914. Green whiteware mark is c. after 1900 (Source:  Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain, Third Edition, by Gaston, pages 32,33).  There is an additional mark in gold -- PORTE D'OR -- perhaps a pattern line or name??; or a distributor??  The lucious and colorful fruit are in transfer with touches of color added by hand here and there.  The heavy gold on the scalloped rim is by hand.  8 3/8" diameter.  Excellent condition.  SOLD  $65 April 2006

#2271 Limoges France Boullion Cups by Bawo and Dotter Elite Works

Marks are dated c.1900-1914.  Beautiful transfer roses and gold trim.  Rims on saucers are scalloped.  Cups are 2" tall x 3 5/8" across top opening.  Saucers are 5 7/8" diameter.  Good to excellent condition -- some very, very minor wear on gold here and there -- nothing major -- only noticeable upon close scrutiny.  I guarantee they are very beautiful and real treasures!!  SOLD
