SOLD #4024 and #4025 Royal Doulton Cabinet Plates SOLD

Royal Doulton cabinet plates, hand painted and signed by P. Curnock, a documented Royal Doulton artist.  According to http://www.antique-marks.com/doulton-artists.html P. Curnock was considered to be among a brilliant generation of Doulton artists of the early 20th century.  An Australian price guide website shows a Curnock plate identical to these except for slightly different florals.  The price shown there is $1,440.00 US dollars -- that is a price guide figure for reference purposes only, on a plate that is not being offered for sale.  Our plates are priced to sell.   Gorgeous florals in centers, surrounded by beautiful cobalt blue with intricate gilding.  Based on a numbering system found in Kovel's Dictionary of Marks, this plates are dated to 1940.   10 1/4" diameter.  Priced at $550 per plate.  Maginificent plates.
