#3881 Heinrich Gold Encrusted Dinner Plates 1930's

10 3/4" diameter.  Spectacular plates!!!  Elegant Etched Gold Encrusted decoration applied by hand in the style of the Pickard Studios in Chicago.  Pickard was famous for its AOG (all-over-gold) encrusted patterns.  In fact, the design on the outer rim of these plates is the well-known Rose and Daisy pattern by Pickard.  Based on that, it appears that these plates were most likely decorated by the Pickard Studios and then marketed by John Wanamaker, a large department store in PhiladelphiaThe mark is one used in the years 1930-39 (Source Marks on German, Bohemian, and Austrian Porcelain, by Rontgen, page 156)The beautiful florals are in transfer.  Excellent condition.
