 #2762 Limoges Hand Painted Footed Vase

Mark is that of Castel of Limoges, France, used 1955-1979 (Source:  Antique Limoges at Home, Debby DuBay, page 233).  Egg-shaped vase with gold feet.  Decorated with hand painted yellow flowers on a pale green background.  6 1/2" tall.  Excellent condition.  1 in stock.

#2717 Old English Portrait Vase

Old English Duchess of Devonshire Portrait Vase

Unmarked except for Duchess of Devonshire  in script within the portrait scene.  Beautiful colors -- very eye-catching.  Scalloped neck rim, handles, gold trim.  Some wear on gold surrounding the portrait (see pictures).  Otherwise in good to excellent condition.  6 3/4" tall x 4 1/2" wide.  1 in stock.

Hand Painted Vase Signed American China Painter

Signed and Dated.  Appears to be Siesicki or Diesicki and dated 1984.  Found in Dallas, Texas.  Probably an American china painter.  No whiteware mark.  Beautiful work -- gold handles and trim, gorgeous florals and foliate on a pale green background, dark green at rim of neck.  9 1/2" tall.  Excellent condition.  SOLD

#2631 Hand Painted Vase

Hand Painted Vase Signed American China Painter

Signed.  Appears to be S. YaplesNo date on the signature and no whiteware mark, but believed to be very early 20th century and most likely the work of an American china painter.  Found in Dallas, Texas.   Possibly Limoges whiteware -- this same vase, with different decoration, is found on page 149 of Gaston's Third Edition book on Limoges and is identified as whiteware from the Wm. Guerin factory in Limoges, France, and dated c.1900-1932.  9 1/4" tall from bottom of legs to top of vase x 5" wide at outer tips of gold legs.  Beautiful yellow roses on soft green background.  Back leg is crooked (see picture).  Otherwise, this vase is in excellent condition.  1 in stock.
