#3910 Old Nippon Sugar and Creamer

Unmarked, but they appear to be Old Nippon.  Beautiful hand painted florals and beautiful colors of gold and turquoise on a cream background.  Scalloped body shape.  Sugar bowl is 3" tall x 6 1/4" wide at the handles.  Creamer is 3 1/4" tall to tip of spout.  As you can see, the sugar bowl lid is missing, but is otherwise is in excellent condition.

#2847 Noritake/Nippon, RC Small Pedestal Compote

RC is for Royal Crockery fine china.  Mark used beginning in 1911 for items intended for export to the U.S.  (Sources:  Nippon Porcelain Fifth Series by Van Patten, page 111; and Noritake, by Van Patten, pages 91 and 97)   Hand Painted with beautiful roses and decorated with intricate gold beaded designs.   2 1/4" tall x 4 1/4" wide (5" at outer tips of handles).  Rim outer edge and inner wall are scalloped in design, creating a shell-like appearance.  A beatiful little dish.  Excellent condition.

#2668 Old Nippon Lidded Cracker Jar

Unmarked, but we believe this to be Old Nippon from the late19th Century or early 20th Century.  Some might call it a large sugar bowl, but similar items are pictured on page 297 of Van Patten's book on Nippon Porcelain, Fifth Series, and are identified as cracker jars.  Hand painted and hand decorated with beautiful florals and lots of gold.  3 1/8" tall to neck rim and 4 1/2" tall to top of  lid finial.  The top opening without the lid is 5 5/8" diameter.  It is approximately 7 3/4" wide at outer tips of handles.  Excellent condition.

#2492 Old Nippon Bowl Hand Painted Florals

Unmarked, but we believe this to be Old Nippon from the 19th Century.  Hand Painted in  gorgeous bright pinks, yellows, greens, and golds.  Detailed beaded design typical of Old Nippon.  Unusual ruffled design.  Perfect condition other than the normal slight wear of gold on the edge of the rim. 10" diameter x 2 3/4" tall.

#2255 Gorgeous Old Nippon Vase Hand Painted Roses

Unmarked, but we are certain this is genuine old Nippon.  Double Handles.  Hand Painted Decoration.  Heavy gold trim.  Excellent to perfect condition.  The only thing we can find wrong with it is some wear of the gold on the handles, which is a good sign of an older piece.  This is a real beauty!!!  Approximately 6 1/2" tall.

#2587 Old Nippon Hand Painted Miniature Basket

Unusual little basket.  Same style basket is shown on page 236 of Van Patten's Sixth Series book on Nippon.  Approximately 2 1/4" tall to top of handle x 4 1/8" wide x 3" long.  Excellent condition.

#2582 Unmarked Old Nippon Style Footed Bowl

Hand painted and hand decorated.  Notice the fine detail and the delicate white beading on the inside rim.  Beautiful scalloped-shaped body and dainty feet.  Appears to be Old Nippon.  Excellent condition.  Approximately 2 2/58" tall x 5 1/4" diameter across top opening.

#2063 Unmarked Footed Biscuit or Cracker Jar, Hand Painted

Cobalt blue with hand painted florals.  Age and origin unknown.  Appears to be Old Nippon.  It is not perfect.  Notice that the lid has a hairline on the inside.  It is priced accordingly.  It is approximately 6 1/2" tall to top of finial on lid.

Cobalt blue with hand painted florals.  Appears to be Old Nippon.  3 3/8" tall.  Perfect condition except for missing corks (although one is trapped inside the shaker).

#2539 Unmarked Tea Pot, Hand Painted

Cobalt blue with hand painted florals on an off-white background.  Appears to be Old Nippon.  A real beauty!!  The very tip of the spout had a very tiny nick which has been professionally repaired.  Obviously and without a doubt VERY OLD.  Approximately 5 1/4" tall to top of finial on lid.  Approximately 7 3/4" wide from outer tips of spout and handle.

#2636 Old Nippon Footed Cup and Saucer

Unmarked.  This is a mixed set -- the outside rim of the cup is a very dark green, while the rim of the saucer is a cobalt blue.  Also, the center of the saucer is made to hold a larger cup.  However, they still give the illusion of matching when on display.  Hand Painted gorgeous roses with intricate gold work on inside of cup.  Footed cup is 2 1/2" tall x 2 3/4" across top opening.  Saucer is 5" diameter.  Excellent condition.

#2718 Old Oriental Demicup

Hand Painted and Hand Decorated.  Marked only with some minimal red writing on both cup and sauer.  Not readable for me.  Not Perfect.  Saucer has what appears to be a stain (see picture).  Cup is 2 1/8" tall x 2 7/8" diameter across top opening.  Saucer is 5 1/4" diameter.  Both cup and saucer have an overall shell-like scalloped design.

#2633 Old Nagoya Japan Chocolate Cup

Unmarked.  Hand Painted.  Colorful figural scene.  Excellent condition.  Saucer is 5" diameter with scalloped rim in cobalt blue.  Cup is 2 3/4" tall x 2 1/2" across top opening.  Body of cup is scalloped in design, with cobalt blue on top and bottom edges.

#2630 Old Nagoya Japan Bowl

Has the remnants of an old paper label with Nagoya on it.  Similar figural scene as the two chocolate cups above.  Hand Painted with beaded touches on trees.  Gold accents.  Scalloped rim in beautiful cobalt blue.  9 inches diameter.  Excellent condition.
