#2520 Dresden Tray by Ambrosius Lamm

The mark is that of the Ambrosius Lamm Decorating Studio, in business from 1887-1949 in Dresden, Germany.  This particular mark has been dated to 1891-1914 (Source:  Dresden Porcelain Studios by Harran, pages 83-84).  This beautiful tray is hand painted with Lamm's familiar cherubs floating in the clouds with their musical instruments, doves, scrolls, wreaths, and scarves.  The beautiful yellow rim is reticulated in each of the four corners and decorated throughout with the gold rococo swirls and curves and scallops.  EXCELLENT CONDITION.  A real treasure!!  10" x 8 1/4".

#2412 Dresden Tea Set by Richard Klemm

Three pieces -- Tea Pot, Sugar, and Creamer.  I originally thought this probably also had a larger coffee pot at one time, but apparently not.  I found this exact tea set (same body style, size, proportion -- only the florals are different) on page 74 of the Harran book on Dresden Porcelain Studios.  The mark on that set as well as this one is that of the Richard Klemm Decorating Studio, in business from 1869-1949 in Dresden, Germany.  This particular mark has been dated to the years of c.1891-1914 (Source: Dresden Porcelain Studios by Harran, page 53).  It is, of course, all hand painted and trimmed in gold.  Scalloped necks and bases, wide handles.  Very little, if any, wear -- possibly some slight wear of gold on handles and finials, as would be expected from normal use.  It appears to be in excellent to perfect condition, especially for its age -- the pictures speak for themselves.  Tea Pot is approximately 5" tall to highest point of neck rim and  6 1/4" tall to top of finial on lid x approximately 9 1/4" wide at outer tips of spout and handle.  Sugar is 4" tall to neck and 5 3/4" to top of finial on lid x approximately 6" wide at outer tips of handles.  Creamer is 4" tall at the spout x approximately 4 3/4" wide.  A wonderful old treasure!!

#2305 Dresden Dessert Dishes by Richard Wehsner

From the Richard Wehsner Porcelain Studio, in business 1895-1956 in Dresden, Germany.  These little dishes have matching underplates and are decorated in an assortment of beautiful hand painted Dresden flowers.  According to resources, this studio was known for its outstanding work in flower painting and were compared to Meissen in quality and style of work.  The little cups are 1 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" diameter across the top from the outside rim edges.  The saucers are 4 3/4" diameter.  As can be seen in the pictures, all edges are gold-trimmed and scalloped in shape.  Notice how the scallops gracefully extend into the wide rim of the saucer and the entire outside body of the cup.  Excellent condition except for one cup which has two tiny fleabites on the rim which can only be felt and not seen -- so small, I could not photograph.  The price has been adjusted accordingly and is very little above what I had to pay to get these wonderful and unusual items.  Prefer to sell as a set only.
