Schumann Bavaria

Chateau Dresden Flowers

Reticulated Rims

All Chateau reticulated rims are hand painted.

Chateau is compatible with Empress Dresden, Dresden Line, and OLD Dresden

The U. S. Zone marks on some of the items date them to the 1945-49 era when the U. S. occupied Germany just after WW II.

Also included in this section are some Old Schumann Dresden reticulated pieces which are compatible with and exactly like the Chateau.  They have the old blue Schumann marks which dates them back to the decades before WW II.

Regardless of the marks, what qualifies a piece to be categorized as "Chateau" is that the reticulated rims are completely decorated with the hand-painted flowers.  The Dresden Line, for example, is just like the Chateau except portions of the reticulated rim are left plain and NOT decorated with the flowers.  However, they are both compatible with one another.

Please remember that all of our items are Antique and Vintage and may or may not have the usual minimal utensil marks or slight wear from normal use.  Anything of significance is duly noted in our descriptions and photographed if possible.  We strive very hard to assure the high-quality of our products and to fully disclose any significant flaws.  Rest assured that we stand behind our products and guarantee customer satisfaction
